Information and Communication Technology I (ICT I)
News
Updated 08/27/2009
There will be two sections of ICT I training: Brandon MS in Brandon, MS and Batesville Junior High School in Batesville, MS.
The training will be completed through a hybrid course design. This means that participants will meet online via our Blackboard Learning System and meet face-to-face at the designated times as listed in the table below. This hybrid course design allows greater schedule flexibility for participants/teachers and our instructors.
If you have additional questions, please contact Dr. Marilyn Bowen at marilyn.bowen@rcu.msstate.edu
Registration Information
Newly hired ICT I teachers in Phase I and Phase II sites have already been registered for the fall training. This information was requested by Mike Mulvihill through Lotus Notes and through e-mails to superintendents and other administrators in Phase I and Phase II districts.

Stipend
The Mississippi Department of Education/Office of Vocational Education and Workforce Development determined that providing grants to teachers who receive High School Redesign training during the school year would fall outside the scope and intent of the summer training grant.
