The lessons provided in this collection were created for use by ninth-grade teachers to implement in their Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) courses. Units are arranged thematically to provide comprehensive, cohesive groups of lessons.

Each lesson provides a detailed list of procedures directing teachers about how to implement
the lesson.
Making Connections
Some lessons provide information focusing on ways to enhance the lessons with additional
learning opportunities.
Extensions
Some lessons provide information for those students who desire challenging tasks related to
the lesson.
Curriculum Match
Each lesson provides the STEM standard(s) to which the lesson relates. STEM program in the ninth-grade curriculum by learning more about science- and technology related fields.
