Assessment

During STEM Applications, students will be exposed to rigorous technology application tools. Students will use these tools to enhance mathematical skills by applying mathematical concepts and theories to solve real-world, industry-specific problems. The academic attainment requirement of math, reading, and English skills will be measured using the Tests of Adult Basic Skills (TABE) which is a recognized and respected instrument used by many Mississippi industries as a screening tool for pre-employment and as a diagnostic tool to meet entering community and junior college students’ educational needs as well as an accountability measure to indicate academic attainment.
